Needing something to do around Underberg?
We have a new system to ensure a guide is available. Please follow these easy steps: Pre-book and pre-pay your guided tour. Admission is R100 per person (ages 6 to 60) and R75 for pensioners. Optional: pre-order flour and yellow maize meal.
We offer tour times where you can come and explore and experience the magnificent church and mill at Reichenau Mission, off the R617, on the way to Underberg. Please note: the mill may be working at certain times, in which case there may be limited accessibility. The guide will work around these to the best of his ability (Health and safety first).
Each tour is about 90 minutes long. We'll be announcing our next tour date soon, with 2 times to choose from on that day.
ᴘʀᴇ-ʙᴏᴏᴋ for 10:00 (alternative options possible)
ᴘʀᴇ-ᴘᴀʏ we'll send you an invoice and proof of payment means a receipt. That's your ticket.
ᴘʀᴇ-ᴏʀᴅᴇʀ stone milled flour or maize meal, it is added to your invoice (limited quantities).
Bring your basket for before, or after, and sit in the shade of the church or mill and reflect on life and love.
